Where is the barcode scanner located, and how do I use it?

Using the barcode scanner can be done easily! First, locate the barcode scanner by following the steps below: 

1. Tap the blue circle with the white plus sign at the bottom of the screen
2. Select the meal period you wish to track food to
3. Tap the barcode scanner image located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen

Once you have opened the scanner, be sure to allow MyPlate to take pictures and use the camera. You will then have access to the scanner and will want to hover the scanner line over the barcode of the food you wish to track. That's it!
